Your style, thoughtfully considered.
Meet the stylist
I’m Kristen, the personal stylist and colour analyst behind The Considered Closet. I help women better understand their colours and personal style, so getting dressed can feel simpler, more intentional and more like themselves.
I trained at the Australian College of Professional Styling and the Italian Image Institute in colour analysis theory and practice, completing my studies in 2025. This formal training, combined with lived experience and an ongoing curiosity about why we wear what we wear, shapes my thoughtful and practical approach to personal style.
Before becoming a stylist, I spent more than 10 years as a teacher and drama educator, and education remains at the heart of how I work. I don’t just want to tell you what suits you. I want to help you understand why. Whether we’re exploring colour, silhouettes, proportions or personal style, my role is to give you the tools and language to make confident decisions for yourself.
As a mum myself, I also understand how easily our relationship with our wardrobe can shift as life changes. Motherhood, career transitions, changing bodies or simply evolving tastes can leave you feeling disconnected from clothes that once made sense.
My approach isn’t about creating a whole new version of you or following a set of style rules. It’s about understanding what already feels like you, getting curious about what doesn’t, and building a wardrobe that supports the person and life you have now.
Because personal style doesn’t need to be complicated. With the right tools, getting dressed can become less about getting it “right” and more about feeling like yourself.
